1. DETERMINE YOUR 'WHY'
Whether it’s to feel more confident or to get ready for beach season, understanding the reason you’ve embarked on your fitness journey can often be intrinsic motivation you need. ‘Before jumping into a new workout regime, ask yourself why you’re starting in the first place’ says Fresh. ‘Be brutally honest about what positive benefits you’re looking to gain from this and keep those in the forefront of your thought process while training’.
2. PUT TOGETHER A KILLER WORKOUT PLAYLIST
Sometimes a good workout playlist is all you need for a motivational boost. Science claims music and mood are inherently linked, which is why Freshian recommends loading your phone up with some of your favorite songs and turning them up when you’re feeling tired or when it’s to go for a personal best. ‘More often than not you’ll get fired up and ready to smash anything that’s in your path’
3. LAND A SWOLE MATE
Finding a gym buddy keeps you accountable, inspires you and will make sure your form is always on point. ‘The more the merrier! Everything’s better when you’ve got your ride or die with you. Training with a friend or even a group of like minded individuals makes exercising infinitely more exciting’.
