That’s why we launched Health for Her this month - an entire week dedicated to highlighting all things women’s wellness & fitness, creating awareness and breaking down stigmas about the female body. Here’s a full recap of everything that happened.
LET’S DITCH THE DIET CULTURE & LOVE OURSELVES
We teamed up with general psychologist Stacey Linton to talk about dealing with never-ending diet culture and how to work towards body positivity, to empower our community to be more kind and nurturing towards themselves. Stacey comes super qualified with multiple degrees in psychology and extra training in eating disorder treatment. Not only this, but she speaks from a place of personal experience, having overcome disordered eating herself in her teens.
‘I think there are very few people who haven’t been affected by body image or that pressure to look a certain way. My own history with body image is unfortunately not an uncommon one’

EXERCISING & ENDOMETRIOSIS: WITH ALANA VOGT
Read the full interview here.
Ever heard of Endo? Endometriosis is a chronic menstural condition where cells similar to those found in the uterus lining are found in other parts of the body, more commonly the pelvis and reproductive organs. This extra lining can lead to lesions that have the same menstrual changes in response to female hormones resulting in extreme discomfort, scarring and inflammation.
We spoke to WBFF Pro, Ryderwear Athlete and endometriosis warrior Alana Vogt, who shared how she balances her condition with her fitness goals and how she's found comfort in creating awareness.
‘Endometriosis is not just a ‘bad period’ and can have huge implications for a woman’s quality of life. There are many misconceptions around endometriosis, and absolutely bringing more awareness to endometriosis will help correct the misinformation out there’

STRONG WOMEN IN FITNESS
WBFF Pro and fitness business entrepreneur Jenna Davies took over our Instagram stories to answer your questions on all things lifting, life balance, work and motivation. It’s so evident that Jenna’s passion for the health and wellness industry is next level when you hear her talk on the topic!
Here were a few of Jenna’s top takeaways from her IG takeover
01. Focusing on the process rather than focusing and fixating on the results
02. Time management is key when it comes to juggling training, work and relationships
03. Stop at nothing when it comes to goal setting. In order to work towards achieving them it’s best to have some foundations in place like having or building a network, prioritising time management and working in a way that aligns with your goals
04. Don’t be afraid to upgrade your skillset, mindset and invest in a coach if that's what you need to help you work towards the best version of yourself.
05. If you’re having negative thoughts, write them down, journal them and see how you can turn them into positive action.
